  • Ernest G. Trakas has practiced law for more than twenty years concentrating in the areas of special education and disability law, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and constitutional issues relating thereto. Ernie has extensive experience handling special education due process hearings, and federal court trials and appeals on special education and disability matters.

    Ernie is a published author on special education and related topics. Ernie has also spoken on these topics to a variety of groups. Ernie also serves as an Adjunct Professor of International Relations in the graduate school of Webster University. Ernie teaches graduate-level courses in International Relations and International Law.
