Michelle H. Basi practices in the areas of education and immigration. Michelle previously served as a Summer Associate with the Firm. She represents public entities with respect to employment and termination matters, wage-hour compliance, student discipline and student rights, civil rights, and church/state issues. Michelle also represents entities and individuals in immigration law matters, including obtaining temporary and permanent visas. During law school, Michelle worked as a law clerk, assisting in the representation of clients for family-based visas, VAWA self-petitions, asylum, and removal proceedings. As an undergraduate student, Michelle completed an internship in the Firm’s immigration department, assisting with the preparation of immigration cases. Education
