Tueth Keeney is pleased to announce that Laura E. Hemmer has joined the Firm as an associate. Laura, a 2006 graduate of Washington University School of Law, graduated in the top 20% of her class. During law school, she gained valuable experience by serving legal internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois, and later with the Missouri State Attorney General’s office.
Laura, who was a terrific student during her undergraduate years as well, graduated with College Honors from Washington University in St. Louis. She received her Bachelor’s degree with double majors in Political Science and Spanish and during her undergraduate years she also served as captain of the varsity swim team.
Laura Hemmer will work primarily in the firm’s Edwardsville, Illinois office and her practice will be focused on Illinois Education Law. Like many other Tueth Keeney education attorneys, she has a number of family members involved in public education, through teaching and service on school boards. We are pleased that Laura has joined the firm!
