any development project or day-to-day business operation.

construction managers; construction lending; defending and enforcing mechanic's liens, and resolution of other

EXPERTISE
Our attorneys have represented clients in a variety of real estate development projects, including commercial, office
and industrial development. Representation has included site acquisition and due diligence issues, governmental permitting,
environmental compliance issues, and construction contracting issues. We can assist a client from acquisition through
project completion.
With regard to environmental permitting, we have advised clients on storm water, wetlands and sewage disposal
regulations and have worked closely with financial institutions to advise them on environmental law issues in
various situations including the impact of new environmental regulations and hazardous materials liability,
and the analysis of environmental assessments to quantify lending risks. We have also assisted clients in
participating in the Missouri Brownfield Program to obtain funding for environmental cleanups and in the Missouri
and Illinois voluntary cleanup programs to address environmental issues.
