John M. Reynolds is an experienced and trusted trial lawyer, whose practice focuses on complex, technical litigation. He has served as trial counsel in some of the largest commercial cases tried to verdict in the St. Louis area, involving Fortune 500 companies and seven-figure disputes. John has been a shareholder of the firm since 2004.
John's practice focuses on several areas:
CONSTRUCTION AND COMMERCIAL LITIGATION
John's construction litigation experience ranges from simple mechanic's lien actions to complex, contractor/owner disputes on multi-million dollar projects. John's commercial litigation involves U.C.C. disputes, business valuation disputes, breach of contract and other general commercial disputes.
FRAUD
John prosecutes and defends civil fraud cases, including mortgage fraud cases. John also assists in dealing with issues involving employee theft, as well as financial audits.
LEASE DISPUTES
John represents national commercial lessors in rent and possession, unlawful detainer and other matters.
PRODUCTS LIABILITY
John litigates issues involvoing motor homes, mobile homes, and manufactured homes, as well as other disputes where product design and safety are at issue.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
John helps businesses deal with disputes involving information technology issues, including forensic computer investigations.
EMPLOYER COMPLIANCE
John assists businesses with compliance pursuant to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) and related I-9 issues, including E-Verify requirements.
EDUCATION
John assists public school districts with a variety of legal disputes, with an emphasis on commercial and construction disputes, and computer/technology issues. John has also been involved in ad valorem tax issues, tax increment financing ("TIF") districts, ballot issues, First Amendment disputes, and vendor auditing.
