Martha Mendez-Fischer practices exclusively in the areas of immigration and nationality law. Martha has extensive experience in employment-based and family-based immigration cases. Martha’s experience includes representing large multinational corporations, emerging growth companies, and individuals in immigration law matters, handling all aspects of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing, including consular processing.
Prior to joining Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt P.C. Martha practiced immigration law as the Outreach Coordinator/ Staff Attorney for the American Friends Service Committee Central America Asylum Project in Miami, Florida, where her practice focused on family-based visas, asylum, temporary protected status, citizenship and litigation before the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She also conducted the Immigration Outreach Program, frequently serving as speaker on immigration matters to community organizations and media. In addition, Martha served as Assistant Director for Centro de Asuntos Migratorios (“Center for Migratory Affairs”) in San Diego, California.
