On February 23, 2010, Tueth Keeney associate Anwar Johnson spoke with the members of the Shawnee Division of the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) in Carterville, Illinois. And, again on March 2, 2010, Anwar spoke with representatives of member districts in the Wabash Division of the IASB in Louisville, Illinois.   Anwar was asked to speak regarding the changesto the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Illinois Open Meetings Act (OMA) that took effect January 2010 . Both topics are of particular interest to public school administrators.

Anwar M. Johnson practices primarily in the areas of education, litigation, labor and employment law. He has experience handling a variety of civil litigation matters, representing clients in state and federal courts in both Missouri and Illinois. During law school, Anwar served as President of the Black Law Student's Association and was Associate Managing Editor of the Global Studies Law Review.
