Our commercial litigation attorneys have obtained numerous successes for our clients, including:

Successfully represented a large petroleum company in a thousand-plus plaintiff class action filed in the City of St. Louis involving personal and property damage claims in the aftermath of the Great Flood of 1993;

Successfully represented a Fortune 500 corporation before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals on a construction case involving a payment bond on a public project without client obtaining an award in the approximate amount of $1.7 million;

Secured a defendant’s verdict on behalf of a pinch roll manufacturer on a case filed in the City of St. Louis, wherein the plaintiff asked the jury to award her $3.5 million;

Successfully upheld the validity and enforceability of a contract forum selection clause for a computer software company before the Illinois appellate court; and

Successfully prosecuted a minority shareholder’s action for the client to secure a settlement worth in excess of $1 million involving a privately held corporation located in St. Charles County, Missouri.

Our trial attorneys practice in the state courts of Missouri and Illinois, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
Our attorneys have orally argued commercial cases before the Missouri and Illinois Supreme Courts, the Eighth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, and the Seventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, as well as the intermediate state appellate courts in Missouri and Illinois.
